The Stone Lagoon Visitor Center is located on Stone Lagoon, just one of the many "Pearls of the North Coast".
Stone Lagoon offers the avid bird watcher superb opportunities to observe various waterfowl. The lagoon is directly beneath the Pacific flyway and many migratory birds stop for a visit. You may also observe many types of wildlife, from Roosevelt elk, river otters and even whales from out on the spit.
The Stone Lagoon visitor center is currently closed due to California State Parks budgetary concerns, but we hope to be open again soon!
